Fresh Expressions 2009/10

This course has been established jointly between Ely Diocese, the East Anglia District of the Methodist Church, the Eastern Baptist Association,

St. Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocese, Eastern Synod URC and Plumbline Churches with a growing and broader ownership across the major church movements and denominations. The course has a particular focus on equipping people in planting and sustaining fresh expressions of church in this area.

The course works most effectively when a group from a church or congregation attend together. Some people attending will already be involved in a fresh expression, others may be about to start and others will be exploring the idea presently. There will be opportunities for further training with coaches and mentors available to help participants after the course finishes.  The leaders are Matt Finch (Methodist Minister) and Dave Male (Fresh Expressions Advisor for Ely Diocese) who are both Associate Missioners with Fresh Expressions. Course teachers include both national experts, such as George Lings and Graham Horsley and local teachers with significant experience of fresh expressions.
