Wattisfield Church are supporting the Homeless

Every year the London City Mission have a large Harvest appeal for basic food and are very grateful for items received.

Some items are always required:

"We depend upon our supporters' generosity in providing us with food, clothing and toiletries. Below is a list of some of the items which are always required. The only items that are needed are listed below - if an item is not on the list then there is no need for it! Thank you."
Food
Baked beans, Coffee, Sugar, Tinned Spaghetti Hoops, Tinned Tomatoes 
Oil, Brown Sauce, Ketchup, Baking Ingredients, Pepper,
Fruit squash 
Clothes
Underpants, t shirts, socks and men’s casual clothing
Other useful items

Washing powder, washing up liquid
Razors and toilet rolls

Celebrities try sleeping rough

Five celebrities undertook ten days of sleeping rough, soup runs and hostels in a bid to put homelessness in the spotlight.

Annabel Croft, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Rosie Boycott, Bruce Jones and the Marquis of Blandford spent their first three days and nights sleeping rough in London.
