Each
week a brief period of reflection on
Genesis,
with
visual aids and music,
will be followed by:
Multi-sensory prayer led by Peter Gibbs.
followed by:
‘Wonders of
Creation’
a short presentation by John/Gillian Fulton.
( "God created the common Burr or
'sweetheart' long before man invented velcro! .....")
After coffee
some favourite speakers will talk for 20 minutes about how
God uses us creatively, to work
for Him, for example:
'The street
children of Manilla', and 'Recreating Croatia'
Speakers
include:
David Freeman, Industrial
Chaplain, Thetford - a regular, and entertaining speaker at
the URC;
Ken Smith, former Headteacher
at Blackbourne and Lay Elder at Hinderclay;
Jenny Hill, Lay Elder at Wattisfield and currently taking
vocational training;
Adrian Black from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and
Lay Elder at the URC;
Mike Trash, former
conservationist at Brussels, currently farming rare breeds
near Halesworth.
On the final evening, Revd John Fulton, Rural Dean,
will bring the course together with a talk
on Creation
- a subject which he has researched in some depth and
feels passionately about.
