Multi-Sensory Prayer Trail - Easter
Day As Junior Church 'Footsteps' piled into the
church porch with a basket laden with Easter eggs for the Easter egg
hunt they were met by the pungent aroma of a pot of myrrh burning on a
wrought iron stand.
As soon as Revd John Taplin had finished the communion service the
children were off around the churchyard and the adults had a chance to
quietly visit the 'stations' inside and outside the church:
The meal of herbs, bread and lamb
The oil, olives and bowl for washing,
Fish frying on a barbecue and so on
Our thanks to Peter Gibbs, our Churchwarden, for the thoughtful and
reflective multi-sensory prayer trail.
